I'm not sure why this is.
And then I think - Jo. You're spending way too much time worrying about yourself and your writing when you have this LIFE to live, and people to hang with, and a house to organize... So I do that instead. And I enjoy my kids, and plan furniture to build in my entryway with the help of Pinterest, and take a truckload of stuff to goodwill because I get a weird thrill out of sorting and organizing, and I feel better.
And then I (YES. accidentally) see two reviews next to each other like THIS and I panic a little all over again. Yes. NEXT TO EACH OTHER. And this is NOT the only book to have this problem...
What is an author supposed to do with this?
Never let your eyes stray to your reviews. EVER.
It just sometimes happens when I'm gifting a book...
And don't even get my started on how there is ZERO rhyme or reason as to why one book sells, and another doesn't...
I did a major overhaul of my author site (feel free to click the above link to check it out) and a bit of an overhaul to this site.
The thing is - I don't want readers confused as to what they're going to get from me - even though I plan on tossing in a few surprises once in a while.
It did make me realize that I was using the fact that people know me by ALL my names to sell books, and I'm not going to do that anymore...
Anyway. I feel like I haven't really CHATTED with my peoples in a while. What have y'all be UP TO?? Regular life, writer life...???
